    Hi
I am currently considering the tecra a2 for my first laptop. I am trying to find some reviews/user opinions but there dosn't seem much around.
    Tecra a2
    1.6, 512MB, 60GB, 15" TFT, DVD Multidrive

Does anyone have one or know of someone that has one? I have read lots of comments on Toshiba and most people seem happy with the quality but when i checked them out in the shop they didn't feel as well built as other Toshiba models.
    Thanks

The tecra A2 is one of their lower end business models, most likely for small business or home office users. It'll generally provide the basics for any small bus or home office, which is business apps. This will provide these basics, but will also allow for a bit of entertainment (Movies, Music, web). You may be able to play the occasional game, but not the latest. This unit is probably not as popular as the Tecra M2. This provides a bit more power for the money vs the Tecra A2.

    Here's a review I found, don't know if you've seen it yet:

If you're looking for a good business notebook that will also allow you to play the occasional newer game, you may want to take a look at the Tecra M2 or even an HP NC6000. The NC6000 will provide a lot of power & quality for the money. It's probably more than the Toshiba's, but it definitely worth it.
