I have the uk variant x500-11m

    Qosmio X500-11M - Product Specifications - Toshiba

Now with the recent apple mac book pros im tempted to sell up, primarily because of the screen quality and part of me wants to try the apple osx, Ive always used windows from dos to now, i only used my laptop for web editing and video editing but finding it a pain in the to edit with premier (slow rendering in 720p. maybe hd fault still a 5200rpm)

Im just looking for reasons as to why i should slap myself out of it and just improve the laptop i have now (i.e more ram, change wifi card etc)

Also what would a good market value of my laptop be now, ideally in uk £.
