Hey, I know I just created my account and it would appear that I haven't done my research on the laptop but that isn't the case. I will be using my laptop for a little of everything, mostly gaming (TF2, LFD2, WoW, Guild Wars 2 when it releases) music, movies and maybe tinkering around with Sony Vegas Pro for giggles.

I don't care about the weight/size, battery life, web cam or that I could get a better desktop for the same price. I've looked at the Qosimo's and unfortunately they're above my price point.

I've read the reviews on the ATI 5650 and i5-460m and I like what I've seen. To me this seems like a great buy but I can't seem to find any good reviews for this laptop. They all seem to be for the lesser version. So I'm wondering from actual owners or anyone else what their thoughts are on this laptop.

    Thanks

Whats's your price limit? I see Newegg has this Satellite computer for almost $1,000 (Also, seems to be a Canadian only computer, as only XXXX.ca sites pop up).
    Newegg.ca - TOSHIBA Satellite L675-06K NoteBook Intel Core i5 460M(2.53GHz) 17.3" 4GB Memory DDR3 1066 640GB HDD 5400rpm DVD Super Multi ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650
    Costco - Toshiba Satellite? L675-06K IntelĀ® Core? i5-460M, 17.3-in. HD LED 4 GB, 640 GB
    (Costco.ca has it for $899)

The lowest end Qosmio is i5 with a Gforce GTX 460 for $1070 @ Walmart.com
Walmart.com: Toshiba 18.4" Qosmio X505-Q892 Q4 Laptop PC with Intel Core i5-460M Processor, Windows 7 Home Premium: Computers

The ATI Radeon 5650 is a mid-grade graphics card. It WILL be able to play ALL the games you listed (maybe not in max settings).

I would think that laptop would work great! If your a member of Costco, I would order through them, as they give you a 90 day return, and give you the 2nd yr of Toshiba Warranty for free.

Good luck and let us know what you decide.
