    Hey guys (and possibly gals).

I need to buy a laptop within the next month and I'm kind of stuck on what I should get.

    Requirements:

    Not UGLY!!!
Good graphics card (not insane--just good)
At least 1440x900 resolution on a 15.4" display (I don't want to be stuck with 1280x800)
Good Intel Core 2 duo processor. 2.0ghz or better (doesn't have to be top of the line though)
DVI or HDMI out (preferably HDMI)

    Everything else is variable:
    RAM, HDD, etc...

I really like the Asus M50-VM-A1 laptop based on its specs and reviews from owners of it. I have not had the opportunity to hold this machine in my hands though so I'm not sure on it.

I was in London Drugs yesterday and I was playing around with some of the Toshiba's there and was impressed with their overall design but there are so many models I don't know where to start.

I will use the laptop for 90% of the time web, office, normal use... and games for probably less than 10% (but I want the option of playing some of the newer games but not necessarily at high quality settings)

What would be comparable in Toshiba?

I should probably add that my price range is UNDER $1,300

    Hmm Sager?

I've never heard of the Sager brand and I'm hesitant to go outside brands I trust. A lot of people say Dell is good but I've had so much bad experience with Dells breaking down I don't want one.

Update to my initial post. A 15 inch screen with a resolution of 1440x900 is preferred, but a 1280x800 would be fine too.
