    Toshiba Forum,

I'm helping my neighbor fix his Toshiba Satelite 1415-S105 laptop
with Windows XP Home SP3. It's in good shape except the hard disc
rattles all the time making it real slow.

I have run Disc Cleanup, Defragment, CCleaner(cleaner and registry),
and did a full scan with Avast antivirus. Still noisy and slow.

I'm going to replace the hard drive and re-install XP and all the
drivers. I have an XP disc with a key# and have backed up all his data.

I'm looking for some instructions on how to replace the hard drive.
Can't find anything on the internet. Any Suggestions?

    Thanks for any reply,
    Jerryd

Turn the notebook over, find the panel that is about the size of a HDD, take out the one or two screws holding it down.

Pull out the old HDD, put in new...
