    I need to replace the DVD/CDRW drive on an ancient Toshiba 1805-S207. I was wondering if you know the drive is a master or slave? It's probably not cable select.

    if its only one i would presume its master but im not sure on this matter
    try searching or googling for manuals you might find it with some luck
