    Hi,

    I own a Toshiba Satellite A100 Laptop.

A few months ago, my CD/DVD burner began to fail to burn CD's successfully.

    The hardware is MAT****A DVD-RAM UJ-8415.

Anyone got any ideas what I can do? It used to work perfectly.

If it cannot be fixed, how do I go about fitting a new one? Is it easy?

    Thanks,

    Kerri

Maybe as a place to start you could delete the ide drivers. Windows will install them when re-booted.
