My sister managed to break the screen of her fairly old Toshiba laptop, a UK Toshiba A100-451. The only part number I can find for this laptop is what Toshiba themselves call it, 'PSAARE-04501SEN'.

I'm trying to find a screen to replace the existing one, but have no idea if they are unique to each model or if they are in fact universal. It doesn't help that the few sellers I find list them as either 'A100/A200' screens or as individual models.

Can anyone assist me with this? thanks!

P.S The laptop for the last two months seems to only retain about 8 minutes of battery life when unplugged from the mains, can this be anything other than a faulty battery?
