In my opinion, if you really need a computer right now, buy it. If you can wait a few months, then wait. There actually is a new model that is going to replace the A100, like you said it is called the A200 and P200 series respectively but Im not sure when they are due to be released. There are pictures of them somewhere on this forum.

Personally, I dont think the average user will even notice a difference between Santa Rosa and non Santa Rosa computers. Im not sure how advanced of a user you are, but it really comes down to your needs and when you really need a computer.

I'm probably gonna wait for the A200. My only question is why would they put a GeForce 7300 in their newer model, when they already put 7600s in their current models?

I have no idea as to what the exact specs are going to be on the A200 models, but if what you say is true, I have no idea. If you want I can get you a A100 model with a 7600 card in it for relatively cheap.

Ok, look at the new Toshiba A205 (not even showing on the Canadian or American Toshiba website yet):
    http://www.buy.com/prod/Toshiba_A205_S4639_1_73GHz_Intel_Core_2_Duo_Proces/q/loc/273/204298410.html

It has a GeForce 7300 128mb card. Comparing specs with the similar Toshiba A100:

Should I wait for the new A205 with many more features such as the webcam and mic, or should I get the A100 now because it has the better graphics card (GeForce 7600 128mb)?

Again, it all depends on what your needs are. If you do alot of gaming then the A100 would be for you. IF you are just an average user who plays the occasional game (as long as it isnt too graphics intensive) then the A200 will be fine. Either computer will suffice for everyday use, however.
