Hi everyone, new here, first post.
I have a Toshiba A105 S1013, I tried to boot it today to lend to a friend in Hospital, but all I got was a white screen, the screen is working ok.
There was no bios when booted, so I changed memory slots, nothing, removed the hard drive to boot off Bios, nothing just a white screen.
I tried entering the bios when it I started it by hit F2, nothing. I can hear the drive spining and it reading for a short time.
It seems like it has no bios in it.

Anyone have any suggestions, apart from using it as a boat anchor?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

A white screen? That's unusual. You could try hooking it up to an external monitor.

Hey CZX58 Shadow, I never thought of that, I just assumed that the screen was working cause the back light was on.
I hooked up an exteral monitor, the bios come up, I was able to enter it and reset back to default, I split the screens so both were working, external one showed everything, laptop screen is still white.
So video card is working, just can't figure out why the screen is white with no activity on it.
Any other suggestion, and no it won't fit there.

    Regards,

If it's still under warranty, you could just get it repaired, by replacing the screen. If not, you'll probably have to replace it yourself.
