Hi All,
This comp seems to be really good spec wise.
T2400
2Gig RAM upgradeable to 4Gig
120 Gig HD SATA
DVDRW
15.4" Screen with TruBrite
Intel Wireless abg
5-1 Media card reader
Express 54 card reader
Fingerprint scanning
and going for around $1150 at Office Depot.
So what is the catch? Does someone who has this tell me how they like it?

I don't know if you live around a Costco, but they offer a HP with the same exact specs (minus the fingerprint scanner) for just $999 after a $199 rebate.

I just bought this about a week agao and I am happy so far. I found out it only burns -R/-RW and is very picky about which ones. I haven't had a laptop before so i don't have anything to compare it to.
Haven't tried the fingerprint scanner because I tend to have bad luck with things and I KNOW I'll lock myself out.Either that or it's just a gimick and not really all that secure.

I have had this laptop for 3 weeks now. It is working great. I bought it in office depot with the same deal.
It is lightning fast. It took 2.5 hrs to encode a dvd to a xvid movie. And i found no trouble in opening other applications during the encoding.
The finger print reader also works great. It is the perfect laptop for anyone who doesn't play many games.
Haven' had any problems burning any dvd or cds
I am very happy with its performance
Toshiba A105-S4134..any good?
