    I have a toshiba A135-S4527 satellite bought from USA. There was the program McAfee available on it. Now the license of McAfee has expired. I want to stop using McAfee to install Kaspersky 7. But I cannot uninstall McAfee although I have used Perfect Uninstaller. Anyone who has encounter this situation or know how to solve it (completely remove McAfee), pls help me. Thanks a lot in advance

    Have you tried from control panel, Add remove program, if you still not able to uninstall from there, then reinstall Mcafee, and then try to uninstall, still not, then manually delete it from its installed( its my last option).

    I have tried from control panel but unsuccessful. I even used professional software to uninstall it but some folder of McAfee was still in C:/Program files..., I could not delete that folder, it appeared "you do not have the permission to do that".

    Maybe u may go the Registry and delete all appearances of Mcafee...

    Run-> regedit

    Then do a search for Mcafee on the registry start up items...
    or delete the entire C:/Program Files/Mcafee folder...
