    Toshiba A205-S4707 - WiFi Stopped Working

    Pretty sure that my WiFi stopped working, after I installed the Vista Home Premieum Service release.

    It worked fine with my Lynksys Wireless-G Braodband Router.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    My wifi stopped working on my x205 a while back, it started working again when I reinstalled vista

    mine's problematic as well, but i think its a vista issue as sometimes it wont connect to the internet and will only show the 2 tv sets, not the icon with the 2 tv sets and the little globe next to them... sometimes i have to reboot 3 or 4 times to get it to work.

    hey guys, tell me about it, i bought mine a year ago and have always had problems connecting wirelessly. I have a Linksys so its not some cheap router. What I always have to do is I uninstall my network adapter and then restart. Once I do that, the driver installs itself back automatically and then im good to go but man is it a pain in the back to do this over and over. Even if i leave my laptop on and come back to it half an hour later **** internet is always messed up. Is there any way something can be done bout this? Ive updated the drivers and what not but still same issue!

    i have no clue how to help you man, but it sounds like it is a driver issue... definitly on my part (though my 2wire modem may have something to do with it - stupid 2wire piece of junk, working junk but still ISP provided junk)...

    yea thats what i was thinking too or maybe the network card is defected? but thenif it was, it wont ever connect so yea im inda lost as to why this happens. My sus ter has a Compaq Presario and never had this problem, shell come to her laptop and bang everythings ready to go and she has vista too, so yea, even calling customer service doesnt help cause they used to get me connected after rebooting a billion times but they never knew the problem. I do have a extended warranty through walmart, where i purchased this so ill go in and ask them what they can do

    hi,plz help me ,i got some viruses and downloaded unknown programes,after while ,when i open my laptop some prgrames lost or not disappeared,like my camera fail to open,bluetooth,..

    Only Way To Remove A Virus Totaly From Your Computer Is To Format And Do A Fresh Install Of Your Operating System. Including All Drivers.
