I got recovery CD's with my new Toshiba. Does it mean that I am safe with my Vista install now? I don't need to make recovery backup of the system?

If you got recovery CDs from Toshiba, then you don't need to make any yourself. Idk what you mean by you being safe with Vista. What does safety have to do with recovery CDs?

Sorry... Generally I got a cd / dvd box with couple of media. It says "reboot and load these cd's to restore your software".
