My old Toshiba A300 which i have since given to my brother is starting to play up a bit. Whenever you boot up the computer it says please wait proceeds to load and then says we have a C++ ( or C+++ can't remember) problem and you can't do anything.

My brother keeps bugging me about it, so I wondering here if anyone has any experience here.

I've asked if he has recently downloaded anything that is playing up, he tried to download torchlight but it didn't work. I've also asked if he needed to download any drivers or service packs or anything but you can't access the internet in safe mode.

    help is much appreciated.
