    Hi All,

    I've had my laptop for a year and a bit now, and ive only had a hdmi cable for a few weeks.

    I have connected my laptop to the tv numerous times, but for some reason, and for the past week or so, when i plug the cable into the tv, and laptop, only the tv actually recognises that the cable is plugged in.

    The laptop doesnt recognise anything plugged in, and through nvidia control centre, ive tried a 'rigorous search for external display' which returns nothing as well.

    Any help, tips, anything at all will be much appreciated.......
