    Toshiba A75-211 memory upgrade?

    I want to add another 512mb to my new laptop. When I run a memory checker from the supplier it says I have 4 slots, 2 open and 2 with wired 256mb memory. Do I have to install the empty slots in pairs or could I order 1 512mb module? Thanks for your help.
