This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Toshiba A8 sound not working

    Good afternoon,

    I have a Toshiba A8-S8513 here that has no sound. You can see the devices installed, there is a speaker icon and nothing is muted. I have installed the UAA from microsoft, restarted, reinstalled the sound drivers, done a BIOS updated, and swore at the thing. Nothing seems to work.

    Has anyone run into this issue and been able to resolve it? Any insights are appreciated.
