I have a Toshiba Satellite C650 used for about 1yr and 1/2 that has a battery issue.

The battery will not charge. If I shut down the computer, take out the battery, then put it back in, then turning the computer on, it will charge. As soon as I move from lets say one room to another, the battery stops charging. I then repeat the process. I'm not sure if there is a short circuit, or broken circuit or if the battery needs to be replaced. If someone could help ASAP it would be great.

Here are the specs just in case you need them:
    Intel Core i3 CPU
    Intel 3000HD GPU
    4GB DDR3 RAM
    350GB Hard Drive 5400rpm

    Thanks

A faulty power socket is a common fault on notebooks, the connection becomes intermittent and the slightest movement can stop or star charging, this might be what you problem is, if so you probably need a new power socket.
