I am helping someone with a Toshiba Satellite L500 laptop . There is a ton of bloatware which comes up automatically on Startup ( Win 7 - 64 ) . There doesn't appear to be any entries for all this stuff in msconfig-startup tab . I would prefer to leave them all installed , but just stop them from coming up automatically on Startup . Is this possible - or do I have to manually uninstall each one , or rebuild a standard Win7 ( which I'd prefer not to do ) ?
    Thanks .

these things might be started from a service.
for a complete list of programs that start on startup use autoruns

There might be an easier way specific to toshiba which i am not aware of. The solution i suggest works regardless of the brand :)
