Hello Everyone,
I have Toshiba M115-S3094 Laptop, on which I recently installed a 2 gig RAM and a 320gb hard drive, so that when I upgrade to Vista Ultimate, there is no problem.
What I want to ask is that as you know that my M115 laptop with XP MCE has Express media player, i.e. I can run the dvd without actually booting to windows xp. So can the same thing happen, i mean on Windows Vista ultimate, that i can play my dvd's without booting to windows Vista.
I know some of you may say no its not possible, but i should tell you one thing and that is two of my friends just bought a Hp and a Viao laptops, with windows Vista on it, and they also has that feature which in Hp is called Quickplay.
So in latest Toshiba laptops as well there would be pre-installed Vista with Express player having the ability to play dvd without booting to windows.
I know that in M115 there is a seperate Linux based partition for express media player. The same was the case with Hp laptops as well, but the latest Hp laptops are now using Windows Embedded for that seperate partition to use there Quickplay.
There must a way for our Toshiba laptops as well...........Please if anyone can provide me with the complete guide.....I would appreciate that.
