Yeah, it's discontinued. Quite a shame, because it's a pretty nice machine especially when Best Buy brings the price down to $1399 a few times. The only gaming machine they have now is the X305.

That is absolutely retarded!! That was one of the most powerful 15" notebooks you could buy in a store......ill never forgive Toshiba
*runs away*
unless this notebook suffered from overheating. -
It does have fairly high temperatures (85 degrees full load) but at the time it was the only option for an in store high end 15.4" machine. I'm glad i bought mine but if you can wait and buy online the new MSI's seem to be great for performance/price.

I Have Owned The F55 For A While I Bought It At Best Buy For 1035.
Then Four Days Later They Had Them On Sale For 895 I Got The Price Diffrence. I Use It For Flight Simulator X At Least I Can Turn Up Some Of The Details And Use Aa. Quite A Step Up From My Hp Which Had A Go 7600. I Thought About The Red Machine But Did Not Like The Red Flames And At That Time The F55 Had About The Same Specs I Do Enjoy The Sound Sys Too :d -
Hi People, I have a F55-Q502, I'm monitoring the gpu temp with games like GOW or Crysis, and it rises up to 104 celsius. I've read in other posts that people solved this problem by changing de Thermal Paste. Someone can tell me some tips of doing that?
