It's a fairly new notebook, it's only been out for a few weeks, so I don't think there will be a whole lot of experience with this particular model yet. But if it is like it's older counterparts, it will be heavy multimedia machine with nice speakers and an awesome screen. Those are the good points. The bad ones start here, expensive for what you get, heavy, very weak video card, should have an X1600 in it IMO, then would be much more worth the price. I think they took a step backwards putting a 7300 in it, the old G25 had a 6600 video card that would take the 7300 to town and have its way with it. To be honest, I think the HP dv8000t is a much better solution for less money, but that's me.

thanks!!
I am not going to buy it, no way -
I would personally like to try the new P100 off of ToshibaDirect.com though. It's a 17", basically updated version of my M60, but the keyboard and trim looks much cooler, plus it has the dual core processor and an optional 256MB Nvidia 7600 card

I totally agree. -
I'd take the P105 any day over the Qosmio - it only has the 7300 Go and is horrendously overpriced (Qosmio G35=3k/P105=1.5-2k).
Toshiba G35 Qosmio, anybody has any experience?
