    Hello. I have Toshiba Satelite L300 and I have problem with the fan. When I wake up the laptop from standby, the fan starts at 75 degrees celsius and it run all the time with full speed. What can be the problem? Thanks

    You may need to upgrade your BIOS.

    Goto this link, and at the top-left of the page you'll see "Product Support". Click that and fill in the drop downs. Goto your specific model content page and download/install the latest BIOS.

    Once I did it and my laptop didn't want to start, so then I had to reinstall the windows. Maybe I don't know how to upgrade the BIOS...
