3 weeks ago, these lines appeared on the display.
After 7 days of downtime they went away all by theirselves.
Now they are back, on 9/10 of the display, and slightly thinner and different pattern.

Is this reversible? What exactly is broken in my laptop? The LCD itself?(they don;t show on external display)

Since the problem doesn't show on an external display leads me to believe it is a problem localized to the lcd-screen/lcd cable itself.

Could be a loose cable, or bad LCD panel. May need to be replaced.
Hopefully others can chime in here.

    Good luck

They don't change when I move the display/shut down.
