I would like to purchase Toshiba L650-I5310 from India.
I dont want to play games. But I watch HD movies, do some coding in C, C++, FPGA/VHDL simulation.

    Processor: Intel Core i3, 350M, 2,260 MHz
    Hard Drive Capacity: 320 GB
    Memory (RAM): 4,000 MB DDR3
    Screen Size: 15.6 inch
    Primary Drive: DVD+/-RW
    OS: Windows 7 Home Premium
    Warranty 1 year International

Or shall I go for Toshiba C640-I4531?
    Processor: Intel Core i3, 350M, 2,260 MHz
    Hard Drive Capacity: 320 GB
    Memory (RAM): 2,000 MB DDR3
    Screen Size: 14 inch
    Primary Drive: DVD+/-RW
OS: Windows 7 Professional with XP downgrade 64 bit
    Warranty 3 year International

I wish to limit my budget in 35000 Indian rupees.

4000 Indian rupees (approx.) difference is there considering warranty extension of L650-I5310.
2GB DDR3 RAM costs 2000 Indian Rupees approx.

    Please give me a solution..
Feel free to recommend other brands/models.

Notebooks are highly specialized and can be very expensive to fix, especially if you're not technically inclined. The warranty can have a lot of value. I would also point out the C640 is smaller and therefore more portable if you care. I've never been to India. What else is available over there you like and can afford?
