    Guys,

I'm at my last leg on this system, my 14 years of IT isn't paying off... I had a friend whom I'm helping to get his laptop back to bios and possible boot up. His system which he bought off a guy in craigslist, as a brick came with all original hardware etc. No software or any other things..as soon as you turn on it goes into a black screen with a blue rectangle box asking for a password. So far iv'e tried all the basic trouble shooting such as taking off the battery to try and clear cmos, can't find any board jumpers, remove memory, HDD's power on with out all. Search google, youtube, and even on Toshiba site. No answer...anyone knows how to get around this or can lead me to the right path. His laptop is the Toshiba L775D-S7206 model, blue top with AMD APU A6. Anyone have any suggestions please help!
