I bought Toshiba L500-247 like 6 months ago from UAE, it is in good condition it is like 15.5 Inch with 4 GB Ram 320 GB hard drive, 2.2 Ghz speed. It is Windows 7. It is so far so good. It beats Windows Vista. What do you think people of Toshiba Laptops?

It is actually a brand new laptop, It cost like $650 dollars, not that expensive. I had LG which was not that good because when I plug more than one device in one of the USB ports it gives error: USB not recognized and three USB ports stopped working so I have to restart the device to make it work, with Toshiba Laptop never experienced USB failure issues.

Both, LG and Toshiba is nothing you should expect much about. Sorry to say this, but their quality have dramatcily fallen for last years. Actually it is diffrent from country to country. But don't never ever waster your time with their support, ask us on NBR for any help :D

And congratulations, and welcome to the forum :)

I bought a Toshiba laptop, looks nice and sturdy but it's rarely used, should have returned it when I had the chance. I fell for the Fusion finish LOL. :D

I hate the 16" screen with the low rez format. Anyway this is the one

Toshiba doesn't seem to be very popular i Sweden at least. I could be wrong though. Bad marketing perhaps? To me they seem kinda generic, nothing that makes them stick out from the rest like Apple or Lenovo.

Toshiba notebooks have boring designs and I think that's why they aren't as popular. Quality wise they are high on my list. 'i' whatever are made in China too but people are crazy about them, maybe too crazy. BTW, after using W7 for almost 2 years, I still feel it's really Vista SP3. Vista was quite alright since SP1 with enough RAM. But then Vista got too much bad press to redeem.

I can agree about the Vista part, I used to just love Vista. A fully updated system with 4GB RAM was not bad. I never understood people blaming Vista because their lack of understanding the OS. Kinda wired.
