Toshiba Laptop Help!

I've heard alot of nasty things about Toshiba. I failed to listen and bought one of there laptops. I've had it for a month! I need some Internet Explorer and Firefox help which would be greatly if someone could. Here is the deal. For some reason firefox won't start at all. It shows it's going to start but never does. I've tried getting it on 12 different ways. NOTHING! I am now using Internet Explorer 7. I go on runescape a lot for my brothers. When I do this on IE 7 I can get to the site page and I click on the member's log in and the browser closes. I can go anywhere else on IE but not there. Now Vista just sucks because I can't uninstall anything to reinstall it. I can't use my Recovery disk because Toshiba didn't bother installing a cd/dvd rom to my computer and yes it has the stuff just not the software installed! I'm getting angry. I won't ship it to a store because several people upon google have had issues with getting the stuff back and not fixed. Or not getting their laptops back at all. So this isn't an option. I've tried every forum I could find no one will answer. I've tried Yahoo Answer no one seems to care. I've even tried a friend of mine who's a computer geek and nothing there. Someone out there please please help me!

 

You don't have a dvd rom to reload the reboot disk? I've never heard of such a thing. Can you recover it back to a certain date when you didn't have any issues? Have you tried the Toshiba website that has technical support? I had a Toshiba for 2 months, I returned it to Costco. The windows media player took over the computer. It would pop up any time you hit any keys. I'm glad I got rid of it.
