I recently had a problem with my Toshiba laptop and had to reinstall Windows XP. While trying to reinstall my ATI Radeon 9000 driver, I'm constantly given the error:

INF error Video Driver Not Found. Try to set up your display adaptor with a standard VGA driver before setup.

    Can anyone help?

Already tried that, didn't work and after a lot of research we realized this is a common problem that rarely gets fixed.

Edit: It's not working, it's still giving the error. =\

Looks like a job for Toshiba! How come you had to reinstall XP anyway?

so i take it you have a ati 9000 igp system which is an intgrated device, You need to download netframe from windows or make sure you have it, Then Download this tool Ati Mobility Mod Tool There are instructions on how to use it, You will also need to download Ati Catalyst 6.5 or less,, Do not download anything above 6.5 Ati stop support on there 9000 series and therefore will bluescreen if you install anything above 6.5

    Download link for Ati Drivers
