    Hi,

the screen of my laptop started to appear several (7-9) tiny white dots and it doesnt look like dead pixels. Also there are some dark patches and smudges on the right end corner of the screen. Not to mention the terrible light leakage.

So the problem is, i took in for repairs under the warranty. The original screen is the trubrite screen where you can literally take it as a mirror, however, after i took in for repairs, they changed it to a different kind of screen where its like a LCD screen which is not glossy at all!

Im not sure if its me or not, but i feel that the new screen looks a little grainy, less bright and the reaction time seems slower as in watching fast motion movies seems like a drag.

Has anyone has this kind of experience as in the warranty doesnt necessarily exchange the parts similar to the original ones?

What you described as white dots sounds like stuck pixels to me.

I am surprised that they switched your glossy screen to a matte version. If you are not happy with the matte screen you should get on the phone with them ASAP to let them know of your displeasure.
