One of the keys on my Toshiba Portégé M200 suddenly began requiring a great deal of force to operate. To use it I must stop typing, shift my hand for leverage, and PUSH.

I am comfortable removing keycaps from desktop keyboards and cleaning them, but I have never done it with a laptop -- I don't even know if it's feasible. Also, I have never encountered this particular problem before.

Can someone who is experienced with laptop hardware please tell me whether this is a problem I can safely try to fix myself, and if so, how to proceed?
