    Toshiba M30 wont boot

    hi there guys
    im having a bit of a problem on my m30 that never happened before. i tried rebooting my m30 and it wont work. the screen just went blank, at first i thought it has something to do with the screen but i noticed that the hd doesnt seem to be spinning/reading. there was no click sound from the speakers which was there before when i boot it up. i tried hard boot but the led just turns on but nothings happening
    i wanna know whats you guys think about this? what do you guys think went wrong? thanx in advance for your replies

    Try taking the battrey out and unplug the power for about 5 minutes, then try to turn it on again. It may work but it could be that your main board is bad. Hope this helps.

    Ok hi all

    just joined been doing this for a while now

    I also have a Toshiba M30 laptop/notebook what ever some call it

    I had the same problem, so I went and bought a new battery that works and now I can access the system

    batteries dont last long enough these days so buy a bigger version (they are out there) more expensive but worth it

    then you should get it working no worries - hope it helped

    It also might be a memory problem. Try to reseat the memory module. If you have 2 memory modules, try to remove them one by one. If you have only one memory module, try to move it from one slot to another.
    Test the memory with Memtes86+ utility.

    well mines is working again

    I bought a bigger battery and it looks ugly sticking out the back but well worth it :)
