I am considering buying this model. I would appreciate reviews from any owners of this model? How long have you owned it? Your pros and cons about it? Any problems with it? Any service issues? Etc.

Any reviews, comments, suggestions on this model would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

I don't have one of the M30 units, but I was looking at one as a possible replacement for my HP NX7000 I had. I tested the unit out at my local Best Buy and compared it to my NX7000 & found that the LCD was not as bright, the CPU was slower (1.5 vs 1.6), the video card was an NVidia rather than an ATI (my preference) and it cost more. It has a very nice design which was one of the selling points, but overall, I just didn't get the bang for the buck at the time I was considering it.

Thanks VB. One of the other notebooks I am considering is an HP NX7010. I will start a topic under the HP forum. I would appreciate your review and pros/cons of your HP unit there, if you do not mind, please.

I have narrowed my search down to four notebooks (this Toshiba, Winbook W340, HP NX7010 and Acer Aspire 2012WLCi). I have already started topics under OTHER for Winbook and ACER for the aspire. If you (or anyone else reading this) have any comments, suggestions or reviews of these other models, I would appreciate your responses for that model under its forum.

    Thanks for responding.

If you want the quickest response, post these 4 choices in the Hardware forum. IMO, that name is misleading, but that's the forum where everyone asks "which should I buy?"

    --------------------
    Compaq Presario 2800T
    Pentium 4-M 1.6 GHz - 15" UXGA
    512 MB RAM - 40 GB (5400 rpm)
ATI Mobility Radeon 7500 64 MB
Pretty good for 2002 isn't it?
