If I want to upgrade the processor on my Toshiba m35x-311, can this be done? My guess is that I would have to remove the keyboard to accss the CPU. Is the CPU socketed? Could I change my CPU with an Intel Pentium M 755? How do I remove the keyboard (if necessary)?

    1. Yes, you should be able to upgrade your CPU
    2. The CPU should be socketed
    3. As long as you have a Pentium M CPU, you should be able to perform the swap (just make sure your original is a Dothan)
    4. I don't think it's just a matter of taking off the keyboard, you may also have to take off the top cover (top half of the notebook) to get to the CPU/heatsink area of your notebook. Without instructions and some experience doing this, I wouldn't recommend it. You could damage your system and void the warranty completely.
