I just bought a Toshiba M40-SF3 a week ago, and then about few days later, 2 really noticeable dead pixels (one stuck on green and another stuck on white) appeared. So I exchanged it for a new one, and now after doing a dead pixel test, I have spotted more than 5 or 6 curious pixels. They're not as obvious, but when i look in the area they stick out.

Am i just being radiculously picky, or is this bad? Are dead pixels a serious problem on these toshiba screens or am I just unlucky or picky?

    We're probably both ridiculously picky.
I have some advice for you.

Grab one of those deadpixel testers that you can download off the web, burn it onto a cd, and take it to the store.
Then load it onto the computer and check before you buy!
