    Hi there,

I've been using my M40 for approximately 2 months now. Unfortunately there seems to be a dark patch in the screen (most apparent when viewing from an angle) that's a bit dimmer than the rest of the LCD. What would be the problem? Will Toshiba's warranty cover it?

    Thanks!

It sounds like a section of the screen might be losing its backlight, I'd definitely send it back and it should be covered under warranty.
