    Toshiba M45-S165 HELP!

    Hello,

    My back light went out and I hooked up and external monitor but cannot get it to work. It will display my desktop briefly during booting cycles but then goes blank. I do not have an owners manual for either the laptop of the monitor. The monitor is an Envision. Any suggestions please? Thanks
