hi my first question is how can i change my display picture to the M60? secondly, i know that you cant change the video card in laptops because they are soldered on or something, but is it possible on the M60? i just love this thing but could use a better video card. its got a nvidia go 6600. is this a fairly good card?

    Brian,

When you say your display picture, I'm assuming you mean the picture below your name. This can be changed in the User CP section (Upper left corner). You can either choose one that's currently available or you can point to a URL that has the image.

Regarding the graphics card, it's not possible to change the graphics card. The 6600 Go is still a very good card and should be able to play all the games currently in the market. You should be ok for a couple years without any problems.

well thats good, thanks for your input. one other thing, the A70 that i used to have, the screen didnt have truebright and the screen brighness was even all throughout the screen. with this M60 however, the brightness seems to be washed away near the edges, particularily on the bottom. it isnt too bad and i barely notice it but i was just wondering if this screen is of lower quality than the A70's. the screen on the A70 was one of the best ive seen.

No, it's the type of technology used. I believe with "Enhanced" LCD's this type of light leakage (I believe this is called leakage) happens a lot. I have seen posts in other sections that also provide "enhanced" LCD's. I guess that's one of the trade offs.
