    Toshiba NB205-N330 ram upgrade??

    I'm reading where people are writing reviews on they NB205 and are posting ram upgrades from 4gb up to 8gb even. I thought it could only be upgraded to 2gb and that was that? I'm looking at buying the nb205-n330 tomorrow and was curious about how far I could ACTUALLY upgrade the ram. Thank you all for your time, this will be my first laptop. I hope this is in the right area, I searched nb205 and nothing like this came up.

    8gb is not worth the money ATM.

    Maybe you should just borrow 4gb to test before you buy.

    I'm asking if I can upgrade beyond the "upgrade from 1gb standard to 2gb" limit. Manuf says upgrade to 2gb max, but I've been reading about people upgrading beyond that. Im wondering if it's truly possible to do and if it's ok to do also. Wouldn't want to hurt the computer. Ill look into a 4gb if I can actually use on in the computer, thanks for the tip.

    The Intel 945GSE chipset can only address 2 GB of memory.
