Hi, i was just wondering if all Toshiba notebooks come with Toshiba HDDs? I have heard very bad things about them and i cant seem to find whether all Toshiba notebooks have them or not. Most websites such as best buy just state the size of the drive. I am thinking of purchasing the Toshiba A100-SK9 but finding the answer to this question would help me out a lot.

    Thanks

Not all. Mine is a Toshiba L20-SP119. It came with a Fujitsu MHV2060AH 60GB 5400RPM 8MB cache hard drive.

You cannot know witch HDD would be inside. Usually Toshiba has a few different brands listed for the same model. They all interchangeable and I think that they install whatever they have in stock. It could be Toshiba, IBM, Hitachi, Fujitsu, Seagate or something else. You'll never know.
