I noticed that recently my time and the date for some reason is falling behind. Whenever I turn it back on to restart after being off all night or even just from closing the lid for 1 hour or so the time gets all messed up?? it almost seems like it goes back???

I have tried leaving it on all night and day to recharge the battery but it doesnt help?

read up on the RTC battery but I never get error messages or anything??

Do I need to replace the battery in the motherboard??

    Any help would be appreciated

    thanks
