My laptop is running very slow with Vista, I have to format it every month to make it slightly faster but the Hard Disk is so slow that is always reading (light always flashing). I'd like to replace the HD with a 100GB SATA 7200rpm, how can I check the compatibility? Anyone has already tried?
    Thanks
    Tom

To be honest, the difference between 5400 and 7200 is not going to be great enough to help you.

    since I have a 5400rpm ATA I though installing a SATA 7200rpm I would notice a difference... thanks anyway!
