    Hello first post.

Basically I purchased the aforementioned adaptor to replace the Intel 3945ABG in my satellite. So I remove the old one install the new one with the extra aerial. Power up the laptop and absolutely nothing happens. Not even upto the windows loading screen. I switches one and that's about it, blank black screen and the fan.

So I put in the old adaptor and it boots up fine no problemo, so somebody tell me what I need or what am I doing wrong? I have installed all the latest drivers for the proset and adaptor and updated the bios (4.70 Phoenix) and chipset driver for the 945gm.

    Somebody please help me

    Thanks

    Wayne
