    Hi

    Another Post for Toshiba P100

    I have owned this laptop since 2005 , first HD laptop back in 2005...really good for that time...but it stopped working..

    However......I went to work on it.. :)

    Got a spare laptop on line to help with the broken bits..

    only the motherboard was ok on my laptop so everything else I replaced.

    Previously.
    Toshiba P100-434 Running Vista 32Bit. Boot Time : 1min 15 sec
    Dual Core
    2Gb Ram
    Faulty Screen
    Faulty Harddrive
    Faulty Batterie
    Faulty Power Supply.

    Currently
    Toshiba P100-434 Running Win7 Ultimate 64Bit Boot Time : 27 sec
    Dual Core
    4Gb Ram
    New Screen, this envolved changing most of the internal cables for new ones.
    SSD Drive 120GB VX Drive
    New Battery
    New Power Supply
    Running RAMDISK 1Gb Drive , Also very fast browsing and windows file cache... :)
    Gave this laptop to my wife and she has never looked back...runs like a dream and faster then many other laptops out there.
