I don't have the A100, but I have a Portege 3015CT. It's one of their older units. It uses either a P166 or a P2-166 (getting conflicting info). Because the unit is so small and thin, the body casing of the unit itself turns into a huge heatsink. Since this unit doesn't have any fans, the casing draws the heat away from the parts. It does get uncomfortable after a while, but I learned to live with it. The only way I can think of to get your system to run cooler, is to get a notebook cooling pad. It's a pad that has fans that blow cool air onto the underside of the notebook. Carrying this with you just eliminated the purpose of an ultra-portable notebook.
