    Hello, has anyone heard of this model ? I'm planning on getting one, but i cant seem to find any post about this model in this forum. Any reviews ?

    this is the same model as the Satellite U305 in the US.

    this model only sold in Asian market.

    basically, the Satellite U305 has 3 names for 3 different markets: Satellite U305 for the US, UK and EU, Portege M600 for Asia , Dynabook CX for Japan.

    and in my opinion , I think it is a good model as an ex-user of it but I think the U405 is better.

    I bought this laptop in June 2008. By the end of July 2008, the hard drive crashed and I had to get it replaced. End of November 2008, once again the hard drive crashed and I had to get it replaced. It's now March 2009 and guess where my Toshiba Portege M600 is ? That's right! In the shop once again, getting the hard drive replaced. Good thing I bought the 3 year warranty. Summary : hard drive crashed 3 times in less than 9 months of purchase !! If you haven't bought this model, DON'T !!! :mad: :mad: :mad:
