I've got a friends laptop that I believe the Intel 2200BG WiFi card has gone bad. Does anybody know about replacing this? I've found a card online but wanted to see if anybody has replaced this before and could lend some advice. I am assuming that some soldering will be involved. Thanks in advance.

Any mini-PCI card will replace the IPW2200BG card. I suggest getting an ABG card from Intel or Atheros.
