This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Came across this finding while doing some searches; looks pretty neat.
    Toshiba's Portege Z10t detachable Ultrabook debuts at IDF (hands-on)

    This might be a good compromise between having an ultrabook and yet having the flexibility of a full-powered tablet with a Intel Ivy Bridge CPU.
    Although, I wonder if this means the end of the current Portege-Z series, or will there be the option of choosing a detachable vs a non-detachable model.
