This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    What a good looking Ultrabook!

    Seems to have everything needed to compete (I'm looking particularly at higher end models) including:
    • weighs 2.5 pounds
    • 2nd gen Core i7
    • USB 3.0
    • 2 x USB 2.0
    • HDMI
    • VGA
    • SSD (maybe max of 128GB though :( )
    • backlit keyboard (Lenovo Ultrabook is not getting one)

    BTW, the Z830 is the business-oriented model with matte finish and fingerprint reader. The Z835 is the consumer-oriented model with glossy finish.
